I have a bit of a battle with my brain at times. But I still manage a bit of politics and amiable nonsense about stuff people talk about.

Still trying to get my head around the "New Age" #conspiracy right wing which has proliferated, and often allied with more "orthodox" white supremacists since the pandemic. It seems the weirdest politics to have alongside a hippyish "love and light" worldview.

I mean what are they? Just latter day Savitri Devis, or something else?

Transphobes love stupid fake anecdotes about trans women, especially sports.

"I know a guy who knows a guy whose cousin's roommate knows a trans woman who can bend steel bars with her bare hands and murdered all the cis women on her soccer team and then went on to win three world championships all by herself."

Yeah, sure you do.

Surely adults who seriously have an interest in Harry Potter to the degree that they'd devote any amount of time to a fan computer game have their own issues, before we even get to the JK Rowling trans war?

It's all working again, great! I couldn't even log in here this morning! Bit of Mastodon being a bit creaky perhaps?
