The way you phrase those questions make me suspicious that you're not attempting to discuss in good faith. If you indeed don't know, Bernie's campaigns attracted many first-time and non-voters that otherwise wouldn't have voted, but even with that under consideration, more Bernie supporters voted for Hillary than Hillary supporters voted for Obama.
This is a talking point that has been disseminated on any corporate news outlet that "leans left" as an attempt to virtue signal.
