That's not a bug. It's a feature.

The Cantos is an unfinished epic, considered one of the most significant works of modernist #poetry in the 20th century. A section of it was written while Pound was imprisoned for treason with every expectation of being executed. The rest was written during his 13 year stay in what Pound called "the bug house." My music reflects both Pound's words and his #madness

Not #HipHop But it would be cool to hear a version that is.

Ezra Pound was flamboyant, immodest, opinionated, tactless, a pinwheel of affectation; he made people crazy and he became crazy himself. He was a #hardright #racist a raving lunatic, a booster for #antisemitic #fascism and an enthusiastic supporter of #Hitler and #Mussolini And yet, he was one of America’s greatest 20th century #poets

As a poetic form, a cantos (the word derived from the Italian word for #song ) has deep roots in the #poetry and #music of medieval minstrels. Here is a section of Canto CVI read the author and poet Ezra Pound, with music by #Syntropia. Hey! That's me!

That reminds me of the time one of my philosophy professors said that Pythagoras had a commandment for his followers: "Thy shalt not eat beans" Because, beans. He did not like the body or bodily functions. The prof said that Pythagoras was never known to have taken a shit. I commented, "So that means he must have been full of it." Not. Appreciated.

Since the director of my grad program just retired I’d like to share with you the time he told me he can tell when students aren’t paying attention because they’re typing “when I haven’t said anything to write down in 20 minutes.”

I said “You can lecture for 20 minutes and not say anything worth noting?”

He didn’t like me very much

The Earth is cool! Literally. But sometimes digging a hole to get to cooler dirt is required.
Attention! I recently learned that the behaviour of lying flat out on the belly with arms and legs spread out that some animals do, often to cool off, by radiating heat into the cooler ground, is called "splooting." I personally have been calling it "going full rug", but I guess splooting is also hilarious. So here's a red panda splooting, in case you need a demonstration. #RedPanda

Internet Archive now has a menstruation information and history library, since we now live in a world with Florida bill 1069, which bans the mention of periods before sixth grade in Florida public schools.
