Trying to brush up on my field theory to understand the counterexamples to the Erdős unit distance problem has made my inner dialogue sound like …

I'd love to see the survivorship stats on this... How many one shot maths conjecture runs came up with utter tosh vs. this one big win?

Oh wait, there's a graph on their announcement post. Is the y axis the probability of solving the problem successfully in a given run? The fact that there's absolutely no label on the x axis is a bit of a downer. Also, we'd very much like to know if all the runs produced “isomorphic” solutions.

This was fun to do... Fun fact; the substitutions for x*y, -x, and x^{-1} are minimal (by exhaustive search).

How Poetry Is Diabolically Being Used In Everyday Prompts To Get AI To Do Things It Isn’t Supposed To Do

Hackers and evildoers are using adversarial poetry to jailbreak AI. The trick involves writing poems as prompts. AI safeguards can be averted. An AI Insider scoop.

@henryk @revk I think I last achieved anything like this with JavaScript embedded in the SVG. I do wonder if there's a pure markup way of doing it?
@henryk @revk oh this is fun. Use deBruijn's approach for Penrose tilings - he solved some major problems by looking at permitted corners :) if you code those into your loop, you generate the right tiling. Probably. :)
@henryk @revk hello hello?
