I really hate that we keep thinking the media is “on our side.” The Media is all controlled by billion dollar interests. They run interference to keep the 99% fighting themselves and not the actual threat - the billion dollar interests that control the media and their colleagues. The media is just another tool in class warfare.

Republicans want to privatize every public work. USPS isn’t supposed to turn a profit. It’s supposed to be a public good that is sold at cost so we all benefit. It used to be subsidized.

Republicans want to turn it into a new industry a la UPS, FedEx, etc, so it’d cost way more to send a letter. The love of money is the root of all evil. It’s also the root of the Republican party.

As a man, I’m okay with this. Take care of others, first. I have been afforded a myriad of privileges simply because my genitals are external. We could do with less men, honestly. I know a lot of misogynistic assholes and the world would have been better if they’d been aborted or castrated.

As a fellow Kentuckian, I agree with this sentiment. I think they’re grooming Rocky Adkins to run after Beshear, and he can win as a Democrat because he can pull Eastern Kentucky, plus the cities. So Democrats might keep the governorship for a while and that might help break the gridlock in the state. Just my two cents.

Democracy only dies if we let it. If it comes down to it, we may have no choice, but to fight the nazis or join their ranks. I’ve made my peace, I have a plan in place. I truly hope we don’t see him re-elected, but we have to be ready if he is.
