Have you seen the latest additions to the online shop?

I've dyed up some gorgeous one of a kind and new colorways on Squirm Sock and these skeins are ready to rock your way!

I know I'm about 10 years late to the flatlay hype, but who cares, I finally had time and energy to actually take these glamorshots of my yarns.

Shown here is The Rage on Squirm Sock. A delightful red to berry shifting colorway with an iriscolored area dusted in neon speckles.
HUESERA, CURDLED and JACK O LANTERN make such a great combo together!

I played around a bit with the yarn we have in stock, making some combinations that play well together. How do you feel about this one?
Heirloom is one of the colorways available in the next yarn drop and is based on the 2005 Taiwanese horror drama The Heirloom.

After years overseas, a man returns to Taiwan to claim his family's long-abandoned estate. With his fiancée and close friends by his side, he hopes to start a new chapter, but the house has other plans.

It's a haunted house story dealing with generational trauma and I feel like it has some found family elements that always make me happy.

Heirloom might not be a typical Undercover Otter colorway (IT HAS BEIGE IN IT AIDEN!) but it's delicious nonetheless.

The skeins for this colorway have been dyed in 3 parts. Both ends in lavender purple and aqua, while the center is dyed with a beige that shifts to yellow. It's all dusted off with some speckles to give the colorway depth.

Next Yarn Drop: April 27th at 4pm CET.

It'll be a ton of Squirm Sock and some surprising bits that the Lace lovers will probably be very okay with.

Yarn Drop incoming this week!

I'm not nailing down an exact date just yet since I've still got the entire 'twist, tag, and photograph' dance to do.

But expect these absolute beauties and more, mostly on Squirm Sock, in the shop soon!

I'm quite happy with this drop, going back to my joy for bright colors and experimentation, while challenging myself to grab some "un-Aiden" pigments and put them in the mix.
Hey Guys, Gals and Non-Binary Pals!

Some of you darlings have been reaching out with questions on what the tariffs mean for shopping with Undercover Otter from the US.

For our USA customers: unless you’re conjuring $800+ worth of yarn, your package won’t summon the customs crypt-keepers and should not be affected by the tariffs that are implemented..

And as a reminder for those shopping from outside the EU (US, Canada, Japan, Australia, etc): you always shop tax-free at Undercover Otter!
I finally finished a project (I know, I'm just as shocked as you are). 🥐

This time it's a hat! The Best Beret by @jamesnwatts in the classic look (the smaller size). Check out picture 2 for a look of the back.

Yarn used: a little over half a skein of Neon Neppocalypse DK in Leviathan. I think I could have easily gotten the dramatic profile one

The pattern knits up like a breeze, I loved the offset increases (so I didn't end up with an octagon) and it is easy enough to alter if you want a different finish on the rim.
The icord was too tight for me, so I ended up just doing a simple folded one, after I had seen this at @lestricoteursvolants earlier in February.

10/10, will knit again, and there's still some Neon Neppocalypse DK in the shop if you're looking to make your own 😉
SLASHER SOCK IN COLORWAYS TO DIE FOR!

Hey Guys, Gals, and Non-Binary Pals!

Our Slasher Sock yarn has sliced its way into the shop again with a machete, and it’s here to take on any project you dare to cast on.

Made from 75% Superwash Merino (26 microns) and 25% Nylon, this 4-ply fingering weight yarn is designed to be as durable as it is comfortable. Whether you’re knitting socks that can outrun a masked killer or crafting a cozy horror-themed blanket, Slasher Sock is ready to take a beating and live to tell the tale. Each 100g skein gives you 420m (459 yards) of pure, slash-worthy goodness, plenty to stitch up something to die for.

Of course there's also still a plethora of Squirm, Jump Scare, Neppocalypse, Mighty Merino, Singularity and Dusk available on the site, so I'm sure you'll be able to find something that tickles your specific fancy.

Stay Awesome!
🖤 Aiden

P.S. I promise this yarn won’t mysteriously vanish if you leave it unattended and pop up unexpectedly to jump scare you… but I wouldn’t test that theory. Just saying. 👀
Back in the late 80s, I really wanted to have one of those ridiculous colorful windbreakers. You know the ones, with the elastics at the sleeves and a front zipper pouch to put all my trinkets in.

Palm Springs is 100% inspired by the windbreaker of my prepubescent heart.

I never had one, unfortunately they didn't make them in my size back then. But I'll compensate for that shit by dyeing up these bright colorways for you lot.
