@ToneMilazzo It's a great app. It's incredibly flexible. I'm using it for several projects. It looks like it might be a few extra steps for a Chromebook, but it's possible to run the app on one according to the ObsidianMD subreddit.
@pixelfed How can I actually register? pixelfed.social's registrations page leads to a 419 Page Expired error every time.
You know what I want? A decent "how to find people on Mastodon" tutorial.
For some reason everyone on birdsite is panicking over a public-facing billionaire jerk taking over from the hidden billionaire jerks currently running the thing. I wonder if that means Mastodon will get more than bot-generated content, because that's pretty much all I see.
I took three days off this week and managed to do a bit of journaling and reading up on Stoicism and even sketched out three potential stories for my Big Writing Project. But when I got home last night I just sat in front of ShaderToy and played around instead of actually working on any story for the Big Writing Project.
I think my dream is telling me to stay focused. I don't have that much time left on this planet, and I still have stories to tell.
I don't put much faith in dreams, but this morning I dreamt I was back in some form of Art School and somehow in my Sophomore year and I wasn't aware of where my classes were or ever what they were. Midway through someone gave me a schedule on my watch (with a really nice e-ink screen) and I was still confused by the whole thing.
LibraryThing friend request from someone with a brand-new account, bio is purely about their own self-pubbed book, which isn't even in their own public calendar. That's an easy Reject choice, isn't it?
Oh FFS NBC. I am stuck in a hotel and you cover Basketball? There's an entire Olympics going on.
I have finished the first week of Massimo Pigliucchi's Handbook for New Stoics. I don't get a lot of interaction with others, so my thoughts turned to the mundane. Waiting in line at a drive-through, lifting weights, using the stationary bike. I'm either very good at this aspect of Stoicism or I am dead inside.
Just got the scariest email in a while. My CC info with Adafruit was out of date and I almost missed the next AdaBox.
