UPD: all the following is irrelevant, because of the russian scums i have no possibility to carry on my beloved hobbies

- HAM, mostly scanning/SWLing or APRS/FT8
- Any kind of "darknets" enthusiast
- Hackerspace runner
- Practical science or any kind of engineering enjoyer

I run hypogea.org services for all humans for greater good

p.s. that's not an account supposed for political ranting, so if you're actively russian I will likely blacklist you

Once in a while got out from the city with my transceiver and ATAS antenna. I cannot explain why, but I unscrewed the part with the connector from the antenna. The central wire was just inserted into the coax in the pole. Obviously, i cannot put it back. Don't repeat my mistake, folks

Still don't know why was it ever detachable?

Finalized the step1 of things I wanted to see in #ATSmini - web control over radio.
https://github.com/UT3UMS/ats-mini/tree/feature/web-page-controls

There's no failsafe mechanism for e.g. selecting FM on purely HF bands. Keep that in mind. No background value refresh for webpage and no redraw of the UI for volume change via API. But in a delicate hands it works.

It felt strange to have an admin panel for the receiver and not having the actual receiver controls on it. So i've added some inputs and api endpoints to set frequency/modulation/band. Now I able to plug the receiver into the stereo and control it remotely. Memory cell editing is in plans.

Shame to say, but I've never received wefax myself. Finally I was patient enough during a seldom free-time episode and I tuned to DDK and GYA simultaneously.

The ICEBERG ANALYSIS is the first fully received what makes it special.

Now I am thinking if some ATS-mini combined with a mini-whip can deliver such images to a wall-mounted e-ink

Some time ago i was tinkering a weather station on esp32, as we all do. Later I gave up but i lkied the idea of ibstant temperature report. That's where the rtl_433 came into. I pick all decodes with temperature mentioned from MQTT and post the formatted version to the matrix.

There are couple of wireless weather stations near as well as TPMS (ground temp source)

Fun starts whe it decodes my neighbour's meat thermometer reading "-23Β°C" or some weird Sharp with 135% of relative pressure.

Scripted a matrix bot that posts decoded messages into the room. For test purposes it filters out CQ messages. But I guess user may ask a bot to track a certain callsign and be notified if that callsign had been recieved. Also need to see what usefull I can get with decodings on 433
Got me an ATS mini - alrrady tried a few firmwares and bricked the device twice. Interesting piece of hardware I must say. I see some possibilities like NTP Stratum 0 / radio clock build ontop of this. Id like to have serial control exposed via wifi/ble as well. If it's the "pocket reciever" it could have had a handsfree Bluetooth. Will have a look on what can be done
Just captured the slow Morse code in AM on 295kHz. I am not even sure if I am reading this correct. I was on time to hear it's last two or three minutes. Intuitively I hit "rec" button - here's the sample. it ended the transmission at about UTC 20.18. Does anyone know
That is my favorite radio tower. Ratel Tower - a former Soviet jammer mast. It is now an FM broadcaster and carrier for some other equipment, as I can see. I don't know why I love it. It has always been the second tower in the city. Maybe the haunted Podyl vibes surrounding this one?
