The Stars add RB Jordan Scarlett from Florida to their loaded backfield. The '19 5th round draft pick for Carolina spent his time with them his rookie year before spending time with the Lions and Dolphins practice squads in 2020 and 2021, respectively. He also spent time on CFL practice squads, most recently with the Elks.

The Breakers have signed CB Joshua Valentine-Turner from FIU. Turner was undrafted in 2022, but he spent time with the Seahawks before being waived prior to the season.

The Generals have added DB Meiko Dotson from FSU/FIU to their roster. Dotson is a ballhawk who led the NCAA with 9 INTS in '19 with FIU before transferring to FSU. He was impressing scouts but ultimately went undrafted in 2022.

The Gamblers added 2 new players: LS Cole Mazza from Alabama. He played in the AAF for the Iron before playing all 16 games for the Chargers in '19 and remained with LA until 2021.
The Gamblers also signed LB Khalan Tolson from Illinois. Tolson went undrafted in the 2022 class, but he had signed with Carolina before being waived in August.

Checking the team roster, we spotted a familar name back on the roster. 👀 The Panthers have re-signed WR Ishmael Hyman for 2023!
Hyman, of course, signed with the Packers after the 2022 season. Unfortunately, he was waived due to injury.
In 4 weeks on the active roster with the Panthers, Hyman had 15 catches for 158 yards and 2 TDs on 21 targets. He's sure to be a key piece of the 2023 offense.
