That is probably it, I also noticed that I don’t have this urge and need to play pen & paper RPGs where I could try myself out in a female role, now I just play female characters and have fun playing. I don’t quite know how to put it in words, I guess the best way to describe it that playing pen & paper RPGs seems optional now and not mandatory anymore to be able to survive.

I think I always created a mix of the most attractive character to me and my ideal self. But I noticed since coming out that I’ve gamed less and less and feel less of an urge to dive into worlds in games probably because I don’t need much of an escape any more since starting HRT and planning to do bottom surgery next year.
