I need help with OGX product related hairloss. It’s a product that is currently in a lawsuit and I can’t get good Reddit info without people constantly defending OGX for some reason. I don’t know what other communities to post this. To give a summary, I used OGX purple biotin for just a few days. My hair is normally pretty thick and healthy. After it had no thickness or bounce. Stuck out and became dried, limp and lifeless. Then I lost hair in the underlying layers. The hair never bounced back, and then my scalp burned to hell and then it developed pimple dermatitis and feels bruised/injured. I’ve had hairfall since. Now it’s just an itch that never ends and I stopped it for a week and still no recovery for scalp or hair. Never have I seen a chemical or whatever is in this shit do what it’s done to hair but permanently. Every time I wash my hair in water the itch worsens. Or I sweat on my bed at might. A dermatologist trip is on the way. But in the mean time, any hair in my underlying layers is just gone, as well as the scalp in the back. There is 0 thickness to it anymore. Is there hope for this kind of recovery for my hairs thickness? I can barely find Info on it. I reported it to the FDA so that’s all I can do on my end. I never have product allergies so this was definitely the shampoo or whatever shit they put in it. You’d have to see it to believe it, because I barely can. Thank you.
