If you look at the Babri Masjid as the starting point of the dispute then it will seem impossible to understand how the Hindu side could even have a claim. If you accept the archaeological and architectural evidence then you will have to accept that Babri Masjid in itself is an encroachment. Then the contesting claims in the #Ayodhya case make more sense. Please regard this independent of forcible demolition. That was an indefensible crime.

Waiting for the first major clash of competing notions of free speech on Mastodon. Want to see procedural and substantive resolution mechanisms. If those work tending towards preserving FOE as peremptory, I think Mastodon will beat Twitter. Otherwise not much incentive to move. No abuse is good but no stringent debate us not.

Not feeling this Mastodon thing yet. I guess I have to sit by the sidelines and watch the medium grow a bit first.
