Arefox. The one and only.

Rarely knowing what to say. And yet, I keep posting, for better or for worse.

Also, very often jet-lagged a day or more on the timeline, so uh, sorry for replying to that yesterday's post of yours only now.

Hmm... any recommendations for a not too shitty registrar who offers dot eu ?

I drew my sona as Quickdraw Synchron for a fun little art challenge with friends a couple of weeks ago, before I got busy irl. I can show it off now that everyone's done :D

This is not new but I'll never stop wondering what was the manufacturer smoking when they were designing this bus model.
The doors have a big button-like recessed circle in the middle, exactly where the majority of other trams and buses have the door open button.
But on this one series it's just an indicator that can light up with a "DOOR MALFUNCTION" message, while the actual buttons are next to the door on the chassis (and weirdly far away as well).

Nostalgia moment:

(maybe skip forward to the extended/looped versions)

Also, NU has done really good recreations/remixes of three of the tracks:

Okay, but I'm incredibly proud of this wire form Matt and I built.
... and while it's a very fair chance this part is not to blame on the website itself but on the HR department, this whole load of crap has very obviously been machine translated.

This... bleepin'... Sh*t-as-a-Nonservice corporate portal...

takes 60s to download 12 MB on the wire, which uncompress to 41 MB of javascript, only to show the login page...

THEN further 8MB (20MB of javascript) for the frontpage after logged in, because rest of the total of 55 MB of javascript is at least re-loaded from cache after first load.

And of course it just shows a boring spinner animation while those slow as molasses downloads are happening.

As ironic as it is for me to type it in Mastodeck, "modern" web development delenda est...
