“Dad, I'm glad we have each other.” Beth sat opposite @PromisedEmnity at the table.
It had been months since the events of Xenomorph Prime. Months since she corrected the events of the Eyeless and restored her father to life.
Months since she'd last seen or thought about Hannah or Superman. And now, she was more than happy to spend all her time with her father.
Sunlight streamed into the kitchen behind them, illuminating the table in the cabin Silas had built.
“School suuuuuuucks," the child whined at the table. The Chromebook before her displayed a math test and she whined louder. "Math sucks even more! Why can't I make the artificial intelligence robot do it for me?"
She knew the answer. The empty apartment offered no words either way while she kicked her feet on the stool and looked at the various bills spread across the fridge. Her eyes slid to the clock - 7:08 local time, and it was already pitch black outside. It made her tired to even look.
Screaming at the top of her lungs.
"TWINKLE TWINKLE, LITTLE STAR!
I WANNA HIT YOU WITH A CAR!
THROW YOU OFF A TREE SOOOO HIGH!
I HOPE YOU BREAK YOUR NECK AND DIIIIIIE!!!"

She grabs Ahsoka's hand with a VICE GRIP and starts walking toward the nearest park.
@CowledHeroine "Okay, truth be told, I'm drawing instead of doing homework, because homework is boooooring. Hannah almost has me fully enrolled in school though! She says you'd be proud of me if I go to school. But math is soooo easy!"
While she talks, she kicks her legs, and doodles a picture of her and Bat-Oracle standing beside each other in a sunny meadow.
