Worldbuilding: I did some more work on the Shael map.

If you're wondering about the strange roads with no buildings. Benar's road system acts as massive geomantic network (like the national grid but for magic). The side road up to the field channels magic to enhance crops while the tree marks a magical upwelling and the road captures the magic and channels it into the system.

The final road is because the village is about to expand.

A note on orientation as I couldn't fit a compass rose... up is west not north.

1. I am going with Blood Rose but overnight I've considered the working title and renamed it "Lawgiver's Blade".

2. Spent this afternoon throwing together a cover in Gimp using free to use (PD - yes it says PD) art. It's nothing special but I have no money to pay someone so I do what I can.
