I really want to like Mastodon. Really. But there's not a lot here...I'm not sure how much longer I'll stay.

So, parler is basically dead...does this mean that Mastodon is going to get some huge upswing in Nazi registration? I guess this will test how well federation mitigates this problem.

I was pretty disappointed by the Gorillaz concert in Brooklyn last night. They literally didn't do anything except sing the songs identically to the albums with the music videos playing in the background. No banter between songs, no cartoons specific to the show. I wish I'd have saved my money and watched there music videos on YouTube.

Migrating to a new service really has done a good job forcing me to acknowledge how much crap email I get in a day. I've gotten some degree of sick pleasure from hitting unsubscribe.

Why is that I can stream 4k video without any issue at all, but trying to transfer over 500mb of emails to a new service takes literally hours.

I decided to move to Protonmail. It was very highly rated, and compared to Kolab it's a godsend.
