I’d check local places like offerup. can get business laptops for cheap when places refresh. there are a few people around me selling 3_4 year old dells with i5/i7, nvme, etc. take a Linus USB and install it on site before you buy to test. they’re more than enough specwise for daily use or testing. often sub $300

and who’s making money off it. cause if there is no money, no one will do it unfortunately.

Well duh but clearly some religions believe that you’re not allowed to sacrifice to help someone else. So it doesn’t matter if you’re responsible enough you may or may not be allowed to do things to help other people based on your religion.
