I’ve seen many tv shows (eg debate shows and news programs) start to promote threads, instagram and bluesky… and no longer mentioning twitter. I never see any mention of Mastodon or Lemmy. Or anything similar. Should we be trying to push these to these people? Or are we better without them there (case in example is the misinformation pushed by shows like the Jeremy Vine Show, GB News and generally the rightwing tabloids)?? What do you see as the benefits, and what do you see as the disadvantages? Cheers people!
