@xabean I have incredibly mixed thoughts on that but it's definitely interesting.
I've been spending a lot of time looking at transcription apps lately, like Wispr Flow or Spokenly, things that have some kind of amount of data privacy to them. I really enjoy the concept as someone who has AuDHD and sometimes rambles and changes direction mid thought. It's really helpful to be able to get something out and to have something just kind of clean up what I'm saying. Remove the filler words. Help keep my communication flowing.
Really enjoying the experience of @readwisereader on a Boox e-ink device. You can tell they spent a lot of time optimizing for these devices. Readwise Reader continues to get better and better all the time…the team should be really proud.
@markmcelroy From a full communion partner….I don’t know much. Assuming North America UMC? I wouldn’t say I get much of any vibe from it, feels very standard. Kind of like “Yep, this exists” - it doesn’t invoke anything in me. I know it’s supposed to be fire, but doesn’t feel like it. 42. (I’m in the ELCA, ours is total garbage. Episcopal Shield is where it’s at)
@badlydrawn the ultimate selfie arms
I can’t get enough of #AllCreaturesGreatAndSmall - as soon as I hear that theme song, all I wanna do is sit and cuddle my wife under a blanket.
@tib3rius that’s awesome news, congratulations
@InfoSecSherpa Let me know if you need any template recommendations. There’s some excellent stuff out there for building a second brain or running a LifeOS.
@markmcelroy Ugh I miss The Strand so much
@markmcelroy They have sync built in, which logseq and obsidian both charge for. Reflect has a web app and a mobile app with feature parity, unlike logseq which can’t use plugins.
