After completing the main campaign of Mewgenics last month, I wrote a review of it. Now that I'm closing in on 100% completion, I am pleased to present a video essay version of my review:

• Creator of The Gemsbok—a collection of articles and videos on books, games, films, and philosophy
• Managing Editor of Logical Increments—a resource site to help anyone build a balanced PC that suits their budget

NEW VIDEO!
Starting off the year with a nice simple one, in which I nitpick a pretty good indie horror movie:

My 'feature-length' application of epistemology to the analysis of FromSoftware's Demon's Souls just became the 2nd Gemsbok video ever to reach 200,000 views!
Thank you to all who have watched it.
As per tradition, today I mark the new year by offering a post discussing my YouTube channel's recent past and near future:

NEW VIDEO:
To round out the year, just a quick review-style video comparing the functioning of the primary mechanics in Spiritfarer to the functioning of the primary mechanics in fellow indie management sim Stardew Valley.
Enjoy; Happy Holidays! See you in January!

It also includes a citation by mossbag.

For over a year, I've been focusing my analytical efforts on Team Cherry's dense and engrossing world of Hallownest.
The result is this feature-length philosophical analysis of Hollow Knight, drawing especially on philosophy of mind:
I'm delaying the release of the new Hollow Knight video by 1 week. It will now launch on Wednesday Nov. 26. Sorry.
I tried hard to have it ready today, but it isn't quite there. With the many months of work that have gone into it, I see no reason to rush it out the door tonight.
