~50 yrs ago ~80+% students prioritized developing a meaningful philosophy of life above making money. College freshmen have been surveyed every year since then. Gradually, those numbers have completely inverted.

That’s because they could get a part-time job and pay their way through college. One full-time job for the husband could pay for a house and a family of four. The later generations had to prioritize money, or they were never going to afford to leave their parents home and have their own family.

I also switched to List view because the new tabs took up so much visual space.

I think I would like an active fun day followed by a spa day. But if I have to only pick one, I pick spa day.
