The other thing young white male progressives do not understand is we've had to fight for every inch of ground politically that we've won. We are NEVER going to get everything all at once. We have to start where we are, and the US is a conservative nation sadly, and build, piece by piece, on that.

Any other way is political suicide.

His moral clarity and extraordinary courage to stand up for justice & equality make him so. In his exhortations to create good trouble, he leaves us a message: be brave & never be indifferent to injustice.
