how can I take over community from an consciously inactive mod? - Lemmy.world

The mod of https://lemmy.world/c/songaweek [https://lemmy.world/c/songaweek] has no intention of building this former reddit sub. His only lemmy post is “the community is located elsewhere”. He is instead using squabbles, https://squabbles.io/s/songaweek [https://squabbles.io/s/songaweek]. I loved r/songaweek and would like “take over” as mod of songaweek. I’d love to know if there is a way of doing this. If I am asking in the wrong place please let me know.
