The Liberal government is aligned with oil and gas companies, with expansion plans that would make it the world’s second highest oil and gas producer.

The mainstream media’s one-sided depiction of what’s happening in Gaza might make you think Canadians unequivocally support Israeli aggression.

But nearly half of young people in the country believe Israel is imposing an apartheid regime on Palestinians.

A strong and growing majority of Canadians want the government to build public housing again—after decades of Liberal and Conservative cuts.

How are you going to pay for it?” is a common question posed when progressive policies are suggested.

The answer is simple: tax the ultra wealthy.

With a progressive wealth tax rate of 1% on people with net wealth above $10 million, 2% above $50 million and 3% above $100 million, the revenue generated could pay for universal pharmacare, free post-secondary tuition, 100,000 new public housing units ever year and more public transit—combined.
