Wrote a Python script today that converts MIDI to DMX so I could use the sliders and knobs on a MIDI controller to control lighting

@tht Welcome! There's lots to learn and explore in the world of amateur radio. Plenty of different areas to explore, such as HF, VHF/UHF, digital modes, making your own hardware (e.g. antennas/filters), contest participation, etc. You can focus on one or try to learn a bit about them all.

You can also follow the #hamradio and #amateurradio tags to see all posts with those hashtags in your feed, including posts from other servers.

@axionyx I'm currently running Fedora as a server. That's partly influenced by me being used to working with RHEL in an enterprise context.

@misty I stand corrected – Harry Hong's record was beaten in 2016, pushing him down to second. However, it seems that record wasn't officiated by Guinness, so they still list Harry as record holder, hence the confusion.

@misty Good read! It seems that after she took the Tetris DX record from Harry Hong, it would stand for three months before Harry reclaimed his world record on 13 September 2007 at the same venue, demolishing her score of 841 lines with a massive 4988. That record still stands today, according to Guinness (edit: his record was in fact beaten in 2016). There's nothing like a bit of competition to push players to greater levels.

@hensys Impressive that you were able to reach all the way here to VK1! Maybe one day I will be able to reach DK1 from Canberra.

(By the way, your toot was marked as German language even though it's English)

I think I've just invented the worst way ever to measure power supply ripple.
