Hey, does anyone know who the "Best Friends Forever" swordpuppy who keeps showing up on the interview whiteboards is?
This little shenanigan is the keystone of my scalable logistics setup. The concept is very simple: if the number of available robots is 0, more are loaded into the roboport. I never need to manually add robots.
Finally got blue science production rigged up. As I said to Holly, this is the hardest jump in the game.
I got
@VoxSomniator to draw me in my winter coat. So fluffy!
Don't believe screenshots. They lie.
Another effect of the Lazy Bastard challenge is that you never make just one of anything. You have to rig everything for mass production. So, since I've got all these pylons and radars anyway, how about an early detection network?
Side effects of the Lazy Bastard challenge include the Eclectic Low-Volume Production Line.
I was thinking about folding bikes, and how they still tend to be rather cumbersome. Either the wheels are large and make it awkward to store, or they're small and make it awkward to ride. So that got me thinking... could a collapsible wheel work as a concept?
Clearly, I was not the only one thinking along these lines. Links below to some clever ideas others have had.

Patreon's 404 page has an extremely cute spacefox.
It's nice when spaces make an effort to accommodate people of nonstandard sizes.
