Do we really believe companies that make money in Russia are going to stop doing business there?

Funny to hear the Russians peddling a narrative of ridding Ukraine of the threat of Nazism. The Russians helped the German Nazis invade Poland before World War 2. Literally saw a documentary on RT last night claiming the entire West is founded on Nazism, and that the Russians tried to prevent its rise before World War 2. Two entirely different takes on history.

I wonder if any young people are becoming enamoured with the idea of dying in a war.

All this positive reaction to Germany spending a hundred billion on military reinforcement... am I naive to think it's all virtue signalling? Because I can't see how Russia would ever invade a NATO country, let alone Germany. Also, celebrating militarization doesn't seem like the way mankind should be heading.

Horrific news about the war today. Trying to understand what this will mean. Is the world changing? A lot of the hyperbole on other platforms would make you think so. That's why I joined Mastodon today, to get a different, hopefully less noisy perspective. Hope this war ends soon and Ukraine is still standing.
