Lets get an icon!
Someone pointed out to me that this community doesn’t have an icon (or banner). I inherited this community so I actually hadn’t noticed. I’ll be thinking about it but I am open to suggestions. I made the banner and Icon for !memes, but all of those are the non political types. I’ll leave this post for a few days and see what we come up with.

NSFW Tag for drug use?
Hey guys, it was brought up in a report that NSFW tags should be applied to posts depicting drug use. What do you guys think? I could see it either way and thought you guys might like to weigh in on it. I personally don’t find it particularly offensive but my work environments have never been the type to react strongly to something like this popping up on screen (I think they might be more upset about being on Lemmy at all). Currently there is no rule, and I am fine with that, unless feedback indicates the community would rather play it safe and require the NSFW flag.

10 Lovecraft Stories That Need Modern Movie Adaptations
There is something fun and sinister about a well done lovecraftian style story. If you don’t mind that sort of thing I HIGHLY recommend “The Void” during your halloween times. It is very lovecraftian and works on a lot of levels. To me “Event Horizon” also has that feel. Inside Out 2 - What did you guys think?
The animated "Watchmen" movie is confirmed to be a two-parter, and will be CG animated instead of 2D. "Watchmen: Chapter 1" allegedly releases in August 2024, while Chapter 2 has been delayed to 2025.
I would love to see a well made watchmen project.
