Just installed PowerBI desktop and entered my 365 credentials. Most prominent thing on the next screen is a button labelled "Register" Funny how register is a word used to ensure SaaS components are set up correctly and also the word to pay to go to a conference in Sweden. I'm still not used to the idea of putting adverts in software, now I have to look out for dark patterns where software vendors try to scam their own customers.

@GossiTheDog From To what extent can the service legitimize bad information. For example, If I asked CoPilot "where can I watch the England Denmark game." I'm expecting to hear that it's on the BBC from a reputable source as below that I might remember viewing. But CoPilot might also have seen adverts for dodgy streaming services. If it shows me them, how much might that divorce those ads from indications that they're scammy or dangerous e.g. disgruntled replies.

Add this to the daily onslaught of default opt ins to deal with.
