A friend gave me some money through PayPal, so I made purchase of some t-shirts on #Threadless as a self-gift for Christmas. Both are Zelda-centric.

Variety is the spice of life and whatnot. I didn't realize some stores still did the "build your own six pack" thing. I usually don't like IPAs and pilsners, but I thought I'd mix things up for once.
Been saying this since the early Covid days.
Ain't nothin' horrible gonna happen today!

I still sometimes reminisce about being the local tech helper monkey for a few local bands. Almost all my friends are musicians and they pretty much all know each other. Many of them have been in the same band (or bands) together.

My skillset improved over the years, from making and fliers and websites to filming shows to put on Youtube, so the bands could post them on social media. Before I got a video camera and tripod, I would record with my phone, learning to hold it as absolutely still as I could.

Most of the real work is editing the videos up later (by song). It's hard to believe some of this was over 10 years ago. I don't think any of the bands I was helping out are still around anymore. This bar was sold and became a nightclub.

The holiday films I have in my digital library, not that I watch them every holiday season, or have watched all of them. Also, I don't exclude Thanksgiving or dramas that take place during the holidays.
I've added extra shredded cheese to pizzas before (take and bake, not frozen), but I never thought about adding more pepperoni or hard salami until now. Why not?
You got to love it when the scammers manage to fail on ALL accounts. 'Tis the season for scamming to ramp up and I think they might be relying too heavily on [machine learning tech] to help.

I've been emailed a few fake invoices. Every (real) invoice I've ever received has my name and address on it. If you can't even use my real name in your e-mail, you've already lost.

If you're going to accuse somebody of "something" and threaten to reveal the information about that "something" to others, you might want to actually explain what that "something" is.

Unfortunately, some in older generations, who aren't usually that tech-savy, tend to fall for tricks like this. My best friend's dad has been scammed too many times with people over the phone threatening him with jailtime over imaginary debts. We have tried to tell him that them asking him to go get gift cards to pay them is a dead giveaway that it's not legit.

I have the same rule for the phone as I do for my front door. I'm not legally required to answer to strangers.
... and winter did come by for a bit.
Winter is coming or something.
