I appreciate the joke, but the rules are exactly why they go “oof”. The scarf has higher requirements for precision and a more constant overhead than a one-off giant summon.

You could make them go “oof” on the summon if you added a requirement that the lava properly flow along the ground and interact with all characters near the event.

It doesn’t always taste like soap to me. But when it does, it literally tastes like the lather/residue from unscented bar soap. Like if you wash your hands but don’t thoroughly rinse them, then eat finger food. It’s a basic (as opposed to acidic) flavor, that really doesn’t taste like anything other than soap.

Joining the chorus of not-a-phone tablet with Linux. I’ve got PopOS installed on a Motion J3600 tablet that originally came with Windows 7. Modern Linux doesn’t appreciate the single-point touchscreen - I find I need to adjust most apps individually to play nice. And I can’t figure out how to disable the default on-screen keyboard so I can use a different one.

But it runs faster than it did on Win10, and I can keep using it, as opposed to Win11.

As far as I’m aware, the rule is “if it can easily be pronounced, it should be pronounced. If it can’t, fall back to spelling it.” For example, if it was the Federal Investigation Bureau, we would probably call it the Fib, barring some major marketing campaign to prevent that.
