Billionaire Republicans are not only above the law, they rub it in our faces.

Tried installing the Android version of the Mastodon app, and hilarity ensued:

Visited the Free Geek Vancouver going out of business sale. They recycled old computers and had a used tech thrift store. This would have been a really cool place in 2003 but it has probably outlived its usefulness, and definitely outlived being able to pay Vancouver rent. Communities used to be built around hardware being the expensive commodity, and free software being a way to lower barriers to entry. These days, massive online computing resources are available for free or nearly free, and our most expensive commodity is time.

The entire crypto ecosystem sending me emails saying "pretty please don't withdraw your funds" is certainly confidence-inspiring. Fortunately these accounts are empty, and were opened only for the purposes of obtaining/cashing out generous signup bonuses.
