As long as it’s noai.duckduckgo.com
Growing up definitely sucks. I’m almost 30 and I still hate making appointments or talking to people over the phone. I thought it was supposed to get easier as you get older! If it was socially acceptable, I would love to ask “my secretary” to do all of this lol
Everything looks so clean in Japan, even the pipe doesn’t have any dirt on it!
Hah, imagine having a walkable town in America! Yeah right, you’re lucky if you can walk to anything within 15 minutes in most places. There are exceptions of course, but places like New York City are way too expensive for the average person to live in. Hell, most cities where you could walk to these food places from your apartment means you’re gonna be spending a fortune in rent because of that “prime” location. You’re expected to have a car for damn near everything and it sucks ass if you don’t like driving. They’ll judge you if you don’t have a drivers license. I have a fear of driving, that’s how I know.

Yes 100%! I hate these apps so damn much. They lie about the menu prices and yet have the gall to charge you a bunch of fees on top of it all. And for what? Food that is usually cold and a higher chance of the driver losing my order.

My sister orders through these apps and I just don’t get it. Almost half the time the dashers end up delivering it to the wrong house or missing items. My sister gets pissed, yet she’ll keep ordering it. It’s madness. The prices don’t justify it at all, and most of it goes to the app developers and not the driver. A few years ago they were caught pocketing the drivers tips!

The driver doesn’t get paid nearly as much as an employee who delivers it directly from the restaurant. The store employee will almost always care more about your food getting to you than some random underpaid door dash driver. A restaurant driver is also less likely to pull some BS like eating your food or something. Yet with door dash, I hear a bunch of horror stories.

DoorDash Settlement: Millions to Be Paid to Drivers For Pocketed Tips

The New York attorney general’s office announced a $17 million DoorDash settlement after the delivery platform used tips intended for drivers to subsidize their pay.

Ah okay makes sense now, thanks!
Sorry for the dumb question, but what is the significance of the tie length?

God I miss this time period for streaming. When basically all the content you wanted to watch was still on one website, with only one subscription needed. There was no need to pirate anything. It was actually easy to watch stuff to the point where pirating was too much hassle. You could share your Netflix account with your family without any BS restrictions. It was great!

Then, the fire nation attacked, and all the greedy companies decided they could make their own streaming service and turned it back to cable…
