I now agree that Apple and others need rhe regulation that the Netherlands and others in the EU are applying due to a need for competition. So my view has changed in favor of greater regulation.

I think engineers need creative royalties for their work. Once the product is built ai can take over maintenance work. Most of these companies are using open source software the community built in their free time. They pay people to build the product then they get to profit off of it forever. I think royalties are in order.
