This speech by AG Sulzberger of the NYT is so disappointing but also telling. Under the term "journalistic independence," he is excusing covering a convicted criminal - convicted of violent crime, in fact - as a valid Republican candidate in the same way he is covering the Democrat who has been convicted of no crimes. It's for independence. Trust? No, it's for the money. The NYT is a business. He's misleading anyone who reads this. And that's why I'm not providing a link.
