@Cat_LeFey we take in a dog or cat, it learns our language then works out how to teach us its own language (can take several years) we call it a pet but it’s really chosen to be a helpful companion in exchange for food and shelter. Down at the basics it thinks much the same as a human. If they had vocal cords the same as us we might get quite a shock.
@Katzedecimal As a reader I’ve sometimes wondered if writers look back at their very old fics to see if there are any new kudos. I left one on a 2019 fic I found recently. I shall have to start commenting as well now I know.
@Lizzie_Owlycat just wondering if they have got rid of all the customer service people as well as so many others. The algorithms certainly seem to be messing things up.
