The thing I love most about today’s speaker vote is that GOP usually get into line periodt and this shit show is the most glorious circus I’ve seen in along time. I can’t wait to see the NYT piece on why today was bad for Dems.

They’ve just announced the office is closed due to weather tomorrow so naturally I did a quick mental inventory to see if I need to stop for potatoes or bourbon on the way home.

I just walked into a colleague’s office and she has a family sized bar of peanut butter sitting her desk in case you’re wondering how it’s going in community mental health this week.
It’s a Jagged Little Pill morning here in the bathroom/ dance studio / recording studio and the usual apologies to my upstairs tenants.
Just caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and realize I’m wearing a periwinkle dress with a grey buttoned cardigan and tights and I look like Liesel from Sound of Music and now I’m trying to endear the staff with my rendition of 16 Going on 17 and they aren’t impressed.
