2015 partial solar eclipse. I used weather radar to successfully predict where the sky was clear, and drove several hours in the small hours of the morning to a bike park in Merthyr Tidfyl to get these shots with a somewhat delapidated Finepix s5500 and a Baader Astrosolar filter. I am hoping to finally see a total eclipse in Northern Spain next year.
