I recommend you find some greater value with your time than these wasteful insults. It’s clear you’re only seeking dopamine from the fake rush you get criticizing strangers from the safety of your anonymity. There’s better things like sports or socializing you could be doing.
This is not a logical or reasonable comparison at all. The point is about having a culturally relevant person interested in the topics that allow us to bring relevant perspectives to the table. It’s much better as an example than say… a podcast like Joe Rogan and his buddies discussing war tactics.
Feel free to read through more of my comments. We truly did come to some mutual ground and will probably continue to work on it. Also 14 hours to read several research papers and respond in kind is crazy bro. I have a job and a life lol

How foolish to debate which mass murderer is better.

Both systems suck.

I feel like this article explains it in a way that reveals a bit more of the harsh reality, but still supports your claim of Muslim nations’ support of China’s policies. It’s also from Medium.

medium.com/…/analysis-why-muslim-countries-in-the…

They write plainly about the support being due to economic ties, fractured Muslim subdivisions, and “agreeing as a way to survive.”

At this point our source is the same and still contradicts itself.

Again, I’ll concede since I don’t have a more credible answer.

Wow I’m discovering we’re more alike by the second. I’m certainly in my personal journey of discovering truth beneath the corporate fed slop. I unsubscribed to NYT in 2017.

I have thought for years that many people bounce their minds between the left and right extremes only to falsely convince themselves the middle must be the reasonable place to be when in fact the truth or ethics are on a different spectrum entirely.

I’m thankful my brain has a natural tendency to know logic and morality that aides my search, but you’re right. It’s questioning everything from the beginning just to have a starting picture. Propaganda from childhood forward. History written by the victors.

Manufactured consent is the hot topic amongst some of my friends at the moment. We’ve abandoned all “sides” in US politics searching for a solution to the ever strengthening tyranny of evil.

Thank you for sharing these sources and information. I’ll happily research further.

No, but it’s a good way to curb capitalism’s negative impacts. The US postal service is great scale. Medicare is another. Taxing the rich and expanding social programs is the correct way to evolve capitalism. Proven by how Reagan and Bush (sr and jr) and Trump have tried to disrupt successful programs with the intent of privatizing.

So, I looked it up. You’re right. NATO countries are pillaging Africa in a way I never knew about. The index score is a good thing still, I think. But the source of that score should be considered.

Does anywhere exist with a high score that is ethically sourced?

I know China does the same thing in Africa. So they’re out…

Regarding that comment about white people. The US is far more diverse than any super power. The only close comparison is Canada which is more diverse, but not a real super power.

The combined population of NATO is nearing 1 billion and it’s much more diverse than China or Russia or any other “communist” or “socialist” state.

Anyways, I’m not saying NATO is good thing or bad thing. I don’t truly know. But I know the US style of capitalism appears to bleed into NATO is shit. And China’s “socialism” is shit too.

Sorry, I thought you or someone else had said the UN report confided it wasn’t genocide. So I went and found the UN report to point out what it did say. If that wasn’t you, I apologize. There are a lot of parallel conversations going on.

But still, wouldn’t the UN collective organization have more credibility than the individual accused nation when claiming their side of things?

“The man accused of says he didn’t do it. The group of investigators determined it was voluntary manslaughter…”

Since you want to discuss the details of the report and China’s response, I will look into both. Please hold.

For some reason your link is not working btw. I will copy the title and search for it.

New Zealand has tons of socialist influence and has had many many socialist political organizations influencing their politics for decades.

I know they are not socialist, but it’s am example of a free market economy with that necessary socialist influence. (Although, I think they are starting to crumble since their economy is so attached to foreign nations, it’s pretty unfortunate)

I will say the only way for the people to truly control anything is for them to have a vote on each decision. If they are not voting on the media, they do not control it. It would be amazing if ownership of your government and economy included actual decision making on the individual - collective level.

A small group of leaders can’t relate to their people’s interests on an individual level in a way that perfectly executes their will. It’s impossible.
