I can't watch Rob Marciano's weather reports without seeing Ranger Gord from Red Green. Am I crazy, or do others see this too?
I don't need to read this book. I read The God Machine when I was in HS (the 70s). I watched Colossus: The Forbin Project, Cyborg 2087, The Terminator, Ex Machina, and I understood that these were cautionary tales, NOT blueprints. I know that there is nothing I can do to stop the arrogant tech-bros from rushing, headlong, into oblivion. Apparently it's part of human nature for those authoring their own demise to ignore all warnings until it's too late. Too bad we'll all go with them in the end.

But the subject matter is disturbing. "Young boy in 1950s rural American, thinks his widowed neighbor is a vampire." So it's listed with horror movies. Sounds like an innocent romp.

It's actually about child abuse, kidnapping, murder, and how innocence can be evil in it's ignorance. If you decide to watch it, don't blame me.

Here are some beautiful screen shots:

Starry, starry, watermellon.
Happy Holidays, everyone! Whatever you celebrate this time of year.

I've recently been doing this on FB, I'll try it hear too and see how it goes.

I write SciFi (mostly shorts) on Wattpad. Here's a link to my latest work. Teacher's Pet. You don't need an account to read, but you do if you want to vote or comment. Thanks in advance for checking it out. https://www.wattpad.com/story/356215136-teacher%27s-pet
