@JoshuaHolland I grew up in Oklahoma City and went to school there through junior high. I did not learn about the Tulsa massacre until I took a college class with former US Sen. Fred Harris well into my adulthood. My Okla. History teacher was too busy teaching us 9th graders what a great guy Gov. George Wallace was and how FDR knew about Pearl Harbor in advance.
So this backwards idiocy is nothing new in the Sooner State.
