A Walk in Contrast
The Leopold #park , at the feet of the EU Parliament is a small island of nature in a concrete and stone neighborhood.
In 1891, a few buildings were built by the Université Libre de Bruxelles to form a science focused campus. The park and buildings were well preserved while the surrounding areas were heavily transformed with a blend of more contemporary #architecture styles.

Electric City
The entrance of one of the #tramway network oldest facility in the center of Brussels. The building itself is from around 1900 and was already used when the tram network was using a ground level power supply system, before it was destroyed during the second world war. Now the whole network use catenary lines.
