Terms of Service The writer of the story and these terms of service (hereinafter the “author”) will work with the commissioner (hereinafter the “client”) while adhering to these terms based on commission type. The client will discuss the desired topic and themes with the author and determine any other planning that is deemed necessary. Once the writing has begun, the client will receive status updates and drafts as applicable, and the author will make necessary revisions until the story is considered completed. The client may request drafts at any point during the process. The client must be prepared to clearly communicate any desired changes or additions. The author reserves the right to reject significant changes such as tone shifts of entire sections if the client is unable to explain what exactly they want added or changed. If the client wishes for the story to remain private, this must be indicated in the appropriate section on the form below. The author will not write about the following topics, regardless of privacy: -Narratives which praise or otherwise portray hate groups in a positive light -Pedophilia (sexual/kink actions involving minors) -Zoophilia (sexual/kink actions involving feral creatures who are unable to directly communicate consent) The author reserves the right to reject other topics, but will provide a reason if this is the case. Payment information for commissions The client will pay the author through a Ko-Fi account which will be provided upon agreement of the terms of writing. The minimum base price will be twenty US dollars for every one thousand (1000) words. Price may be increased if a notable amount of planning and research will be involved. For commissions of less than 1000 words, pricing will be discussed by situation. Please note: Payment is for the minimum word count. If the author is inclined to go above, you will not be charged extra. Refund policy The client may request a full refund no later than approval of the first provided draft. If the author is given the go-ahead to continue after providing this draft, refunds will not be issued unless circumstances prevent the author from completing the story in its entirety. Regarding public vs private A public story will be posted publicly after client approval and the author may discuss progress on social media if they are particularly excited. A private story will only be shared with the client and details will remain confidential.
