Someone misinterpreted the post.

You are one of the people who were placed on the website, aren’t I right? You seem a bit too upset about this website. Everything you post on the internet is public, this website is only someone aggregating public information that was voluntarily posted.

I should additionally mention, this is just a public aggregation. Tons of companies provide social media intelligence services to other companies, this is just less subtle and more niche.

I’d guess not many. We’re a bit more Linux/tech savvy here but most users would hear “Wine/Proton” alone and freak out. I bring up my terminal and people somehow think I’m “hacking”. With all the convenience with buying and playing games on Steam, their model works (even on PC, with competing platforms and unlimited piracy potential).
I think it’s just serverless, right?
Instead of someone explaining, you could always read the article linked and see for yourself.
Nuclear fuel came from the ground, it can go back in the ground. Future generations aren’t going to be impacted by nuclear waste storage.
Of course, but you missed part of the point. Open source devs are providing code for free, the least the user can do is provide bug reports without rude language/demands.
Do most open source projects damage your computer? It’s obvious they put effort into making usable programs.
