Interested in tech while also jaded and annoyed by at least half of the new stuff. Linux beginner with CachyOS and keen on practical things over aesthetics, like controllers that have more buttons than a 1994 PS1. I'm quite UI/UX focused and will monologue about that decline for days to anyone that will listen, and indeed to anyone that won't.

@buherator On my work PC, Search opens so slowly it often misses the first letter I type, so CAMI, becomes AMI, and SNAG becoimes NAG. I end up with an unusually number of Bing searches for Amish people and newsreader Naga Machetty.
The PowerTools search is better for sure, but unlearning the windows key tap at my age is a non runner.
Bit of a sudden out of the blue 1st post, but then I suppose anything would be? As someone who dislikes mostly everything, one thing I like is the Steam Hori controller. The lack of rumble is great for someone who always turns it off anyway, the controller feeling light isn't 'cheap', it's less cumbersome. Steaminput is amazing and also nice to not have those clackety buttons many modern controllers do. Only downside for me is trigger travel which doesn't feel great for racing games.
