It is better to stay silent and pass for an idiot than to speak and leave no doubt about it.

@Ceciestmonpouet un abonnement au Figaro?
@omgubuntu thoughtcrime it is
@sarahmare you mean 200 ft (60 m) ;)
@Ceciestmonpouet comme quoi la modération marche bien finalement
@primalredge Ce qui est amusant c'est que j'ai tendance à faire le contraire, c'est-à-dire à dé-suivre quelqu'un qui poste trop (à mon goût).
Quality over quantity!
@Ceciestmonpouet alors c'est un contentement de Schrödinger

@hakan_geijer feel the same, I was still ranting this morning about filtering (see link below).

Note though that you can hide boosts and / or replies from the web interface (perhaps some apps as well) and you can also hide boosts of specific people you follow from their profile page (which you could also hide their replies).

I don't follow some people for this reason. I would be happy with their own first post, but too many replies.

Something is a bit lost on me in the design of Mastodon. When clicking on a user profile, it is possible to differentiate between their posts without or without replies, but in both cases boosts are included. But we can hide the boosts of a user we follow, not their replies to threads. Would it not make sense to also be able to hide replies from this user? it is possible to deactivate boosts and replies in the timeline, but for *all* users, and only from the web (not in Tusky I think).

@nomnomdan Nice overview thanks!

Perhaps too late to do retrospectively but it could be nice to check the carbohydrate and sugar content. Alcohol free beer are often sweet, and for people who watch their calory intake or diabetic people, it can be relevant.

@adev plus Tusky is free while Fedilab is a paid app.
@adev although if it's nice it is a small price to pay, but I'm not sure what Fedilab can do that Tusky doesn't
