Today marks 1 year since my last day of Chemotherapy - I'm happy to celebrate my first year surviving cancer and living my best life possible! It's amazing how time has flown and all that's happened this past year. 💙

Ironically, a co-worker revealed today that she has been diagnosed with cancer.. I'm continually surprised by how many folks I talk to have experienced this awful disease - or know someone close. 🦋

So, fireflies. Where I grew up, you could see hundreds in the yard every summer night. It was a constant normal. 💙

Since moving away, I haven't seen them. And I've just found out that regularly seeing fireflies is uncommon?

This is so strange to me! And makes me so sad to read that fireflies are becoming more rare..

Have to say, I haven't been gardening much the past couple years. Last summer, I was in the hospital. This year has just been.. meh. So much going on!

BUT. I took the time to garden a little the past couple days and I feel many levels better. I think I forgot how much working outdoors lifts my spirits. 

Squee! I just bought my first adoptable and I can't wait to start creating their character and getting art made. Aren't they just adorkable?! This was from Mr-Gretto on FA.

I'm just imagining an alien fox-deer that travels the universe and got lost. A kind of quirky, silly engineer..
