@[email protected] not even comparable imo. I have a snuggie, which is also a blanket with sleeves and my main problem with it is that it completely falls off of you when you stand up or walk around. The only way to prevent that is by slowly walking around your arms held out in front of you (most likely dragging the blanket). It makes it difficult to do anything, isn’t comfortable, and you look like a zombie.
I also have a comfy, which addresses that problem by basically being a fluffy comforter, like you’d put on a bed, that was made into an oversized hoodie. It’s much easier to wear around, but it doesn’t really feel like a blanket, and the sleeves end up getting in the way if you need to do stuff like cooking, eating food, putting things into or taking them out of the oven, washing your hands, or using the bathroom. The cloak addresses all of these issues and more.
Don’t want to buy a new product for your coziness needs?
Simply don’t. A simple binder clip, a broach, or even a stick and some string (old timey broach) + any blanket will give you a proper cloak.
Need to use your hands unimpeded by clothe?
Simply throw the front two flaps behind your back to have a cape while you use your hands.
Want to be extra cozy when you walk around?
Just add a second clip/broach to the lower half of the front two flaps
Embrace comfy. Embrace cloak
