Really amazing nmap cheat sheets that I saw this morning! If you don't know about nmap, it's one of the best network/port scanner. It also has a ton of scripts that can be loaded to perform vulnerability scans.

Good people of Infosec.exchange: I need to move the Postgres database to a new server. I am intending to do that some time tomorrow morning US time. It will likely require about an hour downtime. After the bad few days of performance issues, I feel bad for doing it, but the #twittermigration is coming at us like a force of nature, and not doing it will cause more problems in the future.
