So with the recent increase in users being prompted for their PRK (FileVault/Personal Recovery Key) after an upgrade, and the new ability to grab these keys for managed Macs via the Jamf API, I started building a thing.

Far from complete, but will eventually use Azure AD as auth, then fetch the PRK for all Macs that user has assigned to them. Should also help in cases where a user forgets their password.

Another thing I’m wondering, how the fuck do people do webdev all day long?!

I really can’t believe it’s been 300 episodes! https://theinternet.social/@tbridge/109778701796323469. I think it was episode 22 or 23 that I joined and started editing the show, so close to six years! Wild to think we’re still going.

Hoping for another 6 years 😊

When Charles said to me, "Hey we should do a podcast" in the pub at MacADUK in 2015, I never thought it would run for 8 years and 300 episodes! And here we are, 8 years on! https://podcast.macadmins.org/2023/01/30/episode-300-just-us/ My thanks to everyone we've had on as a guest, our magnificent sponsors, early editor Dials Mavis, original collaborators @[email protected] and Jason Miller, and of course the team today: Charles, Marcus, Emily and James. Thank you!

The Internet Needs Mastodon
@alaero @[email protected] maaate. Why two.
Anyone know if there’s a way to have Mastodon links open in @ivory by default? Similar to loading Safari Reddit links in Apollo?
Ivory is definitely a great Mastodon client. Actually makes the network useable.
